The Problem of Evil for Atheists

The problem of evil has long posed a formidable challenge to the belief in an omnipotent and wholly good God within traditional theism. This volume argues, however, that the problem of evil arises not only for traditional theists but also for atheists and other 'non-theists', including pantheists, axiarchists, and even followers of Eastern religious and cultural traditions. It posits that traditional theists who embrace supernaturalism are better positioned torespond to the problem than naturalist atheists/non-theists.
